yesterday i had the great joy of spending the whole day with people who love me, people whom i love very much. we celebrated my graduation from college. one of these beautiful people was bethany, a good friend from college. yes, i now have a friend category entitled "people i went to college with." feels kinda crazy. anyway, bethany inspired me to make a bucket list - things i want to accomplish or see or experience before i die. i'm sure i will add more to the list as life goes on, but here are my beginnings:
(in no particular order)
1. write a book
2. marry the man of my dreams
3. take my mom to the grand canyon
4. learn to surf
5. live in ecuador for longer than a year
6. visit Mama at Fatima
7. go to Mass with my whole family
8. become a nurse practitioner
9. read the top 10 novels of all time
10. run a marathon
11. learn how to use makeup
12. visit the following countries: new zealand, ireland, italy, china, india...
13. do mission work in africa
14. bear children (with my amazing husband of course)
15. pay my parents back (somehow...)
16. meet Gianna Emmanuela Molla (St. Gianna's daughter)
17. start a foundation (or at least participate in one started by friends)
18. go 6 months without caffeine
19. learn how to play the guitar
that's all i can think of for now, but my goal is to have 100 things on this list and do them all!
